The Victoria Falls region, which joins Zambia and Zimbabwe, is home to action activities such as helicopter rides or microlight flights over the Falls, rafting the wild rapids or canoeing in the calmer sections of the Zambezi River. Guided walking tours as well as game drives are available and you can also explore the region on horseback. The local name for the Victoria Falls is the ‘Smoke that Thunders’ and they make a wonderful backdrop for a gala dinner with a difference!

Climate: Temperatures can reach 30°C in the summer months between November and April each year and summer coincides with the rainy season. Winter, with average temperatures of 20°C, is the best time to travel between the months of June and August.

Time: GMT+2

Language: The official language is English in both Zimbabwe and Zambia although there are numerous local languages and dialects spoken in both countries.

Passports & Visas: Entry requirements differ depending on your country of origin. Please contact us for more information about travelling to either of these two countries.

Health: Polio, typhoid and Hepatitis A vaccinations are recommended. There is a high risk of malaria in both countries and precautions are recommended.
